Marzo Pazzo Event at Rocco's Capriccio in Baltimore was a Huge Success!

Rocco’s Capriccio in Baltimore’s Little hosted the Modern Italian Network’s Marzo Pazzo Event on March 23rd. It was certainly an unusual Tuesday night spent meeting new friends who share the passion for Italian culture, sharing delicious food and wine, and enjoying the latest Italian music from the 2010 Sanremo musical festival. Let’s not forget learning about many of Italy's March festivals including Festa della Donna (a rose for all the ladies), San Giuseppe (Italian "father's day") and delicious Zeppole, and other Modern Italian cultural festivities was the theme behind the well-known Italian phrase: Marzo Pazzo.

Although it was the first visit to Rocco’s Capriccio for some attendees, others were reminded of why they loved dining at the family-owned restaurant. There were never-ending hot and cold appetizers and entrees including insalata alla caprese, delicious bruschetta, calamari, and mushroom-stuff ravioli with a creamy white sauce. Chef Rocco and his daughter Rosa Gargano were generous enough to distribute $20 dollar gift certificates to the restaurant for every attendee of the night.

Roughly 35 attendees of the night allowed for much conversation about why Italian culture never ceases to unite individuals from every age group and background.
